Thank you.

Thank you for bringing such a captivating film to Newgrounds. I truly tell you--this flash has touched me like no other I've seen in my life. It's a living example of how you don't need humour or any other elements to make a great movie. The message brought across at the end was so incredibly well exemplified by the movie. I love your animation style too--seeing something so surreal and different was very enjoyable to watch.

The animation was almost flawlessly executed, and it was interesting to see all of the characters in the movie. The graphics were nicely drawn--that abstract style of art was very fresh and new. The music was different, but it was very appealing (it also matched the mood of the movie perfectly). I am truly touched. This is a masterpiece. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with all of us! Keep up the good work!

lol...

That was pretty funny:) A bit short but it got the point across though. The stick figures weren't even that bad either. I'm glad you shut that guy up..heh heh...some people can just be so annoying at times when you're resting eh? Decent animation, and pretty good voices. Good job. Made me laugh a bit =)

You must be...

One of the greatest animators I've ever seen on NG!
You put everything in the movie together so well I don't even think I can criticize this very much.
The selection in music was good. Even though I was unfortunately not able to understand it, the song itself was pretty good, it matched the flash movie (obviously) and it was nice to see music from another culture than here. The graphics were very, very well drawn. I like them so much that I can't ramble on because I'll be talking forever. The animation itself was amazing as well. So many parts (paper flying, the girl jumping up and down while it zoomed and rotated) just everything was great. This just brought a smile to my face. You are a very talented person, indeed. If you have any other movies or anything, please submit them to ng! I want to see more from you =)

Well...

If it was you that previously submitted that other bar animation, this one is a milion times better. The inclusion of sound would have made it a bit more appealing though. The jokes were ok, but hitting the guy in the corner got a bit too repetitive after a while. Like I said before, add sound. Even give it just a few sound effects and it will be much better. Decent job overall.

Amusing movie...

It was something a bit different from the stuff on the portal today...

Nice animation style. I like that 'dirty' type of animating with the thick lines and all, but the graphics could have been slightly improved (the building windows, etc) The title night and day was drawn well too. Nice selection in music as well, 'When I'm 64' was a great song to go along with the animation. Some may think this is a bit of a pointless movie but then again some movies don't have to give off such an evident meaning or purpose. Like I said, amusing to watch. The only thing a bit off topic was the guy throwing a bomb amidst all of the relaxing and all...I found it a bit abrupt but oh well. Good job!

WHOA!!

Man, that is so freaky!! I just listened to that Pokemon 2000 soundtrack like yesterday!! (Off that giveaway cd a long time ago) Man, it's not fair! I was about to use that music in an upcoming project. Anyways. enough of my whinning.

The movie wasn't very good, but it was powerful. It contained a very deep plot and it would've been better if you were able to express yourself through this animation better. The graphics weren't amazing--the use of gradients was a bit too much, but since it's yuor first movie Ii suppose you have time to make up...Hmmm....GREAT sound compression. Off the c.d., that song is about 20 megs, and I know that it's not off the c.d., but still...the compression was great. Excellent choice in music btw. Anyways...hmmm...I liked what you tried to express through this movie. Iit's something different that not everyone can enjoy I think. Just improve the animation a bit, make it lengthier and try to make the movie easier to understand and it will do great.

Ryan4Ever responds:

Thanks for the credit for the sound compression. I got the mp3 off of iMesh, then spliced it with the Demo version of Mystic Media's AutoEdit Deluxe that I got off of tucows.com Nobody gave note about the invisible gifs in the preloader... I was never a very good artist, but I felt that since I got Flash, I might as well use it. This movie was done in 2 days, 2 days of doing tutorials and switching back to the main composition. This movie didn't end up to be exactly what I had intended, partly because I don't have the time or the artistic talent to make it great. It's a pity there's not more 8-Bit Theatre fans out there, if I had known this, I would have put something different in place of Black Mages ranting.

Good for your first movie!

Well, this could've been a bit better but since it is your first movie submitted to ng, I have to cut you some slack. I liked the animation style a lot. I mean, it was a bit crude bit still appealing. What else...the lack of sounds made it less enjoyable. Why does your second one (that you submitted EARLIER) have sounds and yet this doesn't? You could've improved that by adding some sounds. Oh, and the death by the exploding 8 ball was rather pointless. Other than that, good attempt.

Hahaha!

Man, I don't really like much of the clock crew movies but damn this was funny! You added a great touch of humour to this movie, and even though it was simple, it demonstrated how useless and stupid info-mercials are in the first place!

Great job overall--and pretty good animation considering it was pretty simple. Excellent choice of music too! Hope to see more of your work in the future, guys!

P.S.

The part when Spiff Timberlake says "how many times has this happened to you?" is cut off from the screen.

CandleClock responds:

lol ya i know that. i was going to go back and fix it but i got lazy :)
